Melissa was born and raised in the Seventh-day Adventist church and left when she was eighteen. She shares a little background with us on what the Seventh-day Adventist Church is and where the religion started. We talk about her deconstruction and what advice she would give those leaving high-control groups. We laugh and have a great time while exposing some of our deconstruction moments. It’s always good to have a safe place to be vulnerable with each other.
