I have heard many arguments against Knitting Cult Lady and these are some of the most common ones. I wanted to take a moment and break these down and give my perspective as a cult survivor and veteran.
Many of the accusations are coming from civilians with little knowledge of how the military works and includes assumptions based on a 3 min video. That happens to me a lot, as well.
I find it interesting that they attack her means of making money when it’s a direct result of labor. Either her books or her knitting. The books are not self published, they are by a respected publisher and at least one of her books (per her claim) has to be reviewed by the Pentagon because it contained information about her service as an intelligence officer.
Not liking her personality is one thing. Attacking a woman for making money by using her hands and being good at marketing is another.
