On May 25th Josh Duggar is scheduled to be sentenced. This is a much anticipated event for those of us who are survivors of the cult his family is a part of. Seeing a cult member held accountable for their criminal behavior is something we rarely see.
If only this becomes the norm in religious circles, where the criminals get the justice they deserve. We need to see a shift from protecting predators by hiding their crimes to protecting victims and helping the predators accountable.
